Description
A classic ballpoint pen allows you to write between 2 and 5 kilometres. While our graphite pencil will accompany you for no less than 42 kilometres! In other words, the exact distance of a marathon. Fancy stationery has never been so sporty!
The wooden pencil as we know it today was invented at the end of the 18th century in France, under the reign of Napoleon. Since then, its manufacturing process has hardly changed. Indeed, more than 17 steps are still needed to make a single pencil!
The last pencil factory in France, heir to this age-old know-how, our partner Compagnie Française des Crayons, perpetuates the history of the first pencil factories. In 2011, it was awarded the label “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant” (Living Heritage Company). This label represents the recognition of excellent French know-how. All Foglietto graphite pencils are therefore made according to these age-old manufacturing techniques, which guarantee the pleasure of writing.
Our graphite pencil “Creative Marathon” is also available in our stationery sets Giallo, Blu and Rosa. Each one is an original gift idea!
